Nvidia 3D Vision and Samsung 120Hz Monitors
We've just received the Nvidia 3D Vision glasses kit and Samsung 2233RZ 120Hz LCD Monitors.
The Samsung 2233RZ is a 22" 1680x1050 resolution monitor that runs at 120Hz. All previous LCD Monitors have operated at 60Hz which is not ideal for gaming or fast-moving pictures (this is why flat panel TV's are now 100Hz+). So even with a $5000+ gaming rig pumping out 100+ frames per second you were really only ever seeing 60 frames per second on your LCD monitor. Because the Samsung 2233RZ is 120Hz this now paves the way for 3D glasses to work properly without annoying flickering.
Enter Nvidia's 3D Vision, this kit when used with a Samsung 2233RZ 120Hz monitor and a GTX260 or better video card will give you the best 3D gaming experience available. Many products have tried this but without the direct driver support (from Nvidia) or a 120Hz monitor the performance was terrible and could cause headaches. The Nvidia kit includes wireless Glasses (40 hours use from one charge), USB recharger, and an IR emitter. Built into the IR emitter is a scroll wheel to adjust the depth of 3D effect from game to game. With 100's of games supported this will make games come to life more than ever before.
The Samsung 2233RZ is available seperately or in a bundle with the Nvidia 3D Vision kit. We will not be selling the Nvidia 3D Vision kit seperately (unless you have already purchased a Samsung 2233RZ from us).
